Welcome to Kennebunk Elementary School!
Located in beautiful Kennebunk, Maine, Kennebunk Elementary School (KES) is nestled among the trees along the Eastern Trail, just minutes from the heart of downtown. KES serves approximately 400 students in Pre-K through Grade 2.
As the home of RSU 21's public Pre-K program, KES is proud to welcome families from all three district communities during their child's Pre-K year. This unique role allows us to partner with families and provide a strong, joyful foundation for each child's educational journey.
We are proud to be a true primary school dedicated to the unique needs of young learners. Our caring and committed staff provides high-quality, engaging, and joyful learning experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning during these foundational early childhood years.

Seniors at Kennebunk High School are trading their advanced coursework for kindergarten story time as part of a mentorship program that connects older students with elementary school children.
